"NO WAY!!!" you scream in a panic as your mom's hand reaches down and picks you up, raising you to her lips. "Mommy stop! I thought you were kidding! Please stop!"
Your mom looks down at you, hurt and disappointed. Her face breaks your heart. "But... baby, I've wanted to taste you and eat you for so long! All those times since you were little and I'd say 'you're so adorable. I want to eat you all up!' and you always laugh and smile and say 'yes please eat me up mommy!' and we talk about how I'm going to chew you up with my teeth and hnd tongue and how you'll go into my tummy?"
"That was pretend!" you cry, actually crying now at the thought that your mommy really wants to eat you.
"But baby! My sweet little Carol! I've wanted this for twelve years! I was going to eat you when you were four. You were so much cuter than your sister and you made my stomach rumble just looking at you, but I loved playing with you and hearing you telling me how you wanted to be eaten so I kept saving you and saving you. I came so close so many times!"
"Mommy, please! I don't want to die!"
She hugs you into her suddenly vast bosom and strokes you. It feels really nice. "Oh, baby, Crystal and I found a way so that you can come back to life again after I've finished digesting you. You'll just come back somewhere in the house as good as new!"
"But, all the times before that... you would have eaten me for good?"
Your mom looked guilty. You would have enjoyed it then! You've changed!" She starts to cry and it's almost too much. You won't die if she eats you... and you did always like playing pretend about her big strong teeth and her wriggling tongue and dark throat...and you love her and can't bare to see her so upset with you.
"But mommy, won't it hurt? A lot?" Her face brightens with hope. She looks radiant!
"Oh, Carol, honey. I could never decide how to eat you... whether to eat you whole or a bite at a time or swallow you or mix you into other food! Maybe I can let you decide! I love you so much my sweet delicious little Carol! Thankyou!"
