As you step out of the machine you see your clothes on your body. You also see your sister Ember step out of the machine and she is definately in her old body. You check yourself out in the mirror and are elated to see that yes you are in your normal body.
Ember smiles when she sees that she is herself again. You give each other a high five and Ember says "We'd better hurry back in the house and eat our breakfast before we are late to school". You reply "Sounds good, I'm starving sis".
As you sit down at the table you sense something is odd but you can't really figure out what. You put a small amount of hasbrowns and one pancake on your plate meanwhile Ember loads her plate full of suasage, bacon, and eggs. You look at her with disgust.
Your mom walks into the kitchen and almost screams when she sees Ember stuffing her mouth with meat. Then it hits you, you are normally the one who stuffs your mouth with food and your sister is the one who is a vegetarian. The problem is that you now think like a vegetarian and Ember obviously does not.
You hear your mom yell at your dad "Larry get in here, I think you are responsible for this".
Your dad walks into the kitchen and his jaw drops as he sees his normally vegetarian daughter stuffing her mouth with sausage. Ember then lets out a big burp (just like you normally do after stuffing yourself with food) and says "I don't know why I'm a vegetarian, this stuff is good!".
Meanwhile you realize that your eyes are getting blurry. You see Ember's dorky glasses and think that they would probably look pretty cool on you so you ask if you can try them on. She looks at you and says "Yeah sure, I don't need them, they are pretty ugly anyways".
Your dad is horrified at what he sees and asks if you guys were playing around with his machine. Ember answers (using your manerisms) "Amber pushed us in the machine and started it up, then after she left we used it to switch back".
Your dad's jaw drops and he says "Well that explains it. There is a flaw in the machine. It works fine to switch peoples' bodies the first time, but when they try to switch back it will let them switch but they will keep many of the personality traits of the person they switched with. This is reversable by using the machine again, but it won't work until three months after the switch".
