"Dude... it's six in the morning on a Saturday, turn off your alarm." The voice of Jake's brother was overheard from across the door.
This was bad, very bad indeed, for if Jake knew his brother at all, Jake knew that his brother was anything but patient. Before he knew it the door swung open.
“Alright you little pest, you better. . .” He grew silent as his eyes laid upon the abandoned bed. “Oh ha, ha, very funny twit. I know your hiding in your closet.” The titanic being walked over to the door at the opposite end of the room, but not before turning off the alarm; the very reason he had entered Jake’s domain to begin with. He reached across the door to Jake’s closet and slid open the sliding doors until they disappeared into the wall.
“Ah Ha.”
The burley teen staggered back as he found the hiding place of choice to be empty. “That sly dog snuck out of the house. He may just have hope yet.” He smiled contently in his boxer clad body, as he turned about face with the bed, and lowered his hindquarters onto the soft comforter. He swiveled around, placed his hands on the back of his head and let himself fall onto the cloud-like pillow. He rolled his head to the right saying: “I wonder what he would sneak out for. He-” Devin stopped mid-sentence, as he spied something nearby.
