Rouge decided to leave and let Shadow go to sleep, and soon after decided to go to bed herself.
She was woken up later in the night by sounds coming from the kitchen. Rouge slipped on a bathrobe and her slippers before heading out to investigate.
In the kitchen she saw Shadow stuffing his face, literally with any type of food in the kitchen. Rouge walked up to him while he still had a big moughful of cookies and other various food items, and on his now enlarged belly were the remains of food that had dropped out of his mouth from the chewing.
Beyond that her kitchen was almost a big a mess as Shadow was, she noted a half empty gallon of Ice Cream, scraps of a chocolate cake she bought the day before were all around the counter, and her pantry was deserted of all food. She estimated Shadow ate around $400 worth of food. Shadow looked at Rouge and asked, "We're out of food, can you get me more?"
