I decided to get dressed and try to find out what was going on. I opened the wardrobe and pulled out a tent-like red t-shirt and pulled it over me, then some boxer shorts and black sweatpants. These clothes weren't exactly slimming. I waddled out of the room to try to find a mirror to look at myself in.
The house was much bigger than the one at home – even the hallways were bigger, it all seemed to be on one floor, and in the bathroom the toilet was wider too. I looked at myself in the mirror over the sink and saw a truly enormous guy looking back at me. I wondered how much I weighed... then I noticed a scale over by the wall. Weirdly, there wasn't a display on it – instead, there was a digital display set into the wall in front of it. Good thing, too, I thought, as I stepped on; I wouldn't have been able to see over my gut otherwise.
372 lbs, the digital display said. I stepped off, stunned. 372?? I'd never seen anyone that big, and now it was my reality. My enormous stomach was still rumbling and I guessed this belly came with an appetite, so i lumbered on through to the kitchen.
On the way there, though, I passed a table in the hallway and something caught my eye. It was a magazine, and on the cover was a fat woman, way fatter than me at probably 500 pounds, proudly showcasing her vast body in a bikini. I flipped through the magazine – everyone, in every picture, was enormously fat! Was this some sort of parallel world where these sizes were normal? If so, my current size of 372 pounds was...
