Short or long?

You land in Nick's Coke can. The soda is giving you a tingly feeling. Better than the acid eating your skin away, I guess. You have got to find a way out before he takes another swig. You look around, but the soda is too low to climb out of the can. There is no way out. You look up and feel the can moving. You are staring into the abyss that will soon be your home. Nick is doing more than swigging it, he's is going to chug it all down. It's a contest to him. How fast can he drink it? You try to fight the current, but in the end it was futile. You have one last hope. You grab onto his uvula, and decide to hang on as long as you can. He finally finishes the soda, and you see the way out.

What happens next?
