A Peculiar Bug

Nick glanced around rapidly as he walked into the room. Heather's nightgown lay crumpled on the floor, along with the remote she had been holding. His attention shifted to what appeared to be a small pink bug moving slowly across the floor next to the remote.

Nick had left his glasses in the bathroom along with his clothing. Squinting, he approached the strange bug to better examine it. Sensing his presence, the small creature had stopped in front of his bare feet and appeared to be making some kind of repetitive motion.

Nick briefly thought about crushing the bug, but the possibility that it was some kind of beneficial insect made him reconsider. He decided it was better to catch it and....
