Chapter #3

Oath

“Come with me human.” You nodded and fell behind it as it started walking back into the cave. You had to jog to keep up with it as he walked with large strides. Soon you came to an opening, just allowing the dragon to walk through it, but what came after it was awe inspiring. The huge cavern was lit by millions of little fires that were hung by crude torches.

But the next thing to attract your attention was a new dragon just as black as the male and curled around the black egg that you had seen only a few minutes before. 'Why did you bring him here!?' The obviously female dragon growled to the male, who replied with

'If he is to betray us, he will die, I sense he holds no malice towards us.'

She then got off the egg and trundled towards you, it was very unnerving, but you stood your ground. The female unlike the male, simply butted her head harshly into your chest nearly knocking you over. 'Human, swear an oath that you will not harm us, or any dragon unless in self defense now. Lest you wish to perish by our kind!' You agree to the oath quickly, knowing this would bind you for life. You cannot harm a dragon intentionally now. Not that you had this intention in the first place.

Suddenly, something happens, letting you know your spell has been breached, You…

You have the following choices:

1. Suddenly feel very drained as the spell fails.

2. Suddenly hear the warcry of the soldiers.
