It was another normal day at the Urahara Shop. Ururu was sweeping outisde the store with Jinta on top of her. He was grabbing and pulling her hair for not acting her age(again). And Jinta was of course slacking off. He had secretly stolen Urahara's tv and was watching the Baseball championship till Ururu told him to help her clean. Urahara was laying inside sleeping peacefully. Yoruichi was in her cat form and was licking herself and coughing up hairballs. And Tessai was tasting some of the different types of foods Orihime makes (only three people actually like her food, him included).
That's when a worker brought in a supply of Chappy the Rabbit Soul Candy in at least two dozen boxes. "Ahh! The new batch of Soul Candy!" Tessai said as he stopped trying Orihime's fish dipped in choclate onions. He signed the release papers and carried the Soul Candy into the back room. Each box had the words "Soul Candy" upon them and a picture of the animal head that was at the top. But Tessai had accidentally placed them next to a box of needles that also said "Soul Contanimation Growth Serum." with a Chappy the Rabbit upon it. When he put the last box of Soul Candy down it had blocked everything but Soul and the C. Tessai dusted his hands off and went back to the next room. Miraculously Urahara woke up just as Tessai had came back in.
"Sir you'd be happy to know that we made a profit today! We made a total of 10 dollars!" Tessai said with a thumbs up.
"That much!?" Asked a happy and shocked Urahara. "That's 400 dollars more than we ever make in a day!"
"Don't you mean that's the only money we've seen since you started this busieness." Yoruichi said as he jumped off her seat and landed on Urahara's head.
"Yeah, yeah." Urahara said as he yawned. He layed back down as Yoruichi jumped off. "Well I am going back to sleep. Don't wake me!" Within minutes he was back in a sleeping stance.
That's when the door opened. Yoruichi and Tessai looked up as Jinta and Ururu guided Ichigo into the Shop.
"Well well. If it isn't Ichigo!" Urahara said as he jumped back up into a sitting posture. "So what bring's our favorite substitute shinigami here?"
"Rukia ordered me to get the latest order of Chappy the Rabbit Soul Candy. If I don't she'll force me to look at her drawings for the next 10 days non-stop."
"Well then we wouldn't want Rukia unleashing hell on you. Ururu go grab the one of them from the back." Yoruichi told her. Ururu nodded as she entered the back room. Looking at the set of boxes, she noticed their wasn't a single one with a Chappy the Rabbit on it. That was until she arrived at the last box which she presumed was a box of Soul Candy. Diggin in she found a set of needles each with a Chappy the Rabbit on it and a green bubbling liquid. Though she thought it was weird for soul candy, Ururu believed it condensed into a candy like form when it was released.
Ururu went back to the front area and gave Ichigo the needle. As Ichigo grabbed it, he looked down at the needle and got the most creepy sense of what it was. Yoruichi, Urahara, Tessai, and Jinta also stared at it. Ichigo shaked the needle and watched the liquid move slowly.
"What is that?" Jinta asked.
"Well, it must be Soul Candy in a liquid form. That is Soul Candy right Ururu?" Tessai asked the young girl.
"Yes. At least that's what it said on the box. It even had a Chappy the Rabbit on the needle. See there?" Ururu explained as she turned it over to show Chappy.
"All right then. How much do I owe you?" Ichigo asked them.
"Well since your a shinigami I have to give you a discount of 25%. So I'd say about $100!" Urahara told him.
"What the hell!? That much for some friggin candy!?" Ichigo said shockingly.
"Well you don't have any Soul Soceity money which would make it about .75 cents. So I am afraid it's 100 dollars in human money." Urahara told him.
"All right then." Ichigo said angrily as he got into his wallet and pulled out a fresh hundred dollar bill. Paying the man, he left and cursed his luck 'She could have at least told me! That money was for me and Orihime's study date tonight! I don't plan on eating her food after she gave me a blob like thing that was moving. She even said it was spahgetti!' Ichigo thought bitterly. He was planning on eating out before going over to Orihime's. 'I guess I can just starve. Might as well get this to Rukia' and so Ichigo was off. Not realizing the potential disaster that layed on the horizon thanks to the needle he possesed.
