Usagi decided to look for one of the ubiquitous pink yukata the inn provided. The place was all but deserted, and she'd prune up permanently if she waited for a kind stranger.
Muttering about her circumstance, Usagi tiptoed back inside the inn. No people about, but nothing to wear, either. Checking different rooms, she made a game out of her sneaking around, taking exaggerated steps and whispering to herself that she was the "Naked Ninja."
Just as she was mentally working up a theme song for the Naked Ninja TV series, starring her, Usagi found herself cornered. The old lady who acted as housekeeper had stealthily crept into the room Usagi had been checking, wielding a huge feather duster and working over the fusuma. No escape!
The lady was mostly blind and almost totally deaf, so Usagi decided to wait her out. Not that it wasn't mortifying. But having to explain her situation at sufficient volume to make the cleaning lady understand would be even more embarrassing.
"Must remember my Naked Ninja training!" Usagi thought to herself, steepling her fingers and concentrating.
She actually thought something was starting to happen, the air stirring around her. But when she opened her eyes and quit goofing around as a ninja, Usagi realized she was REALLY cornered. The old lady was moving right for the ornaments stacked on the table Usagi was in front of. No way out, short of stepping on her!
Usagi gritted her teeth, feeling more vulnerable than... well, ever. Proceeding by memory in a task performed thousands of times, the old woman gave the knickknacks a thorough feathering. Or would have, if Usagi hadn't been blocking them with her own knickknacks.

Usagi managed to choke back a laugh, but the feather duster wasn't going anywhere. With one hand clapped over her mouth and the other trying to defend against the duster, Usagi hopped from foot to foot, her face turning red from suppressed laughter. She tried spinning around, hoping her backside was less sensitive, and got immediate confirmation to the contrary.
Usagi continued to pirouette in place, desperate for the old lady to move on, until...
