Ratchet, who's life had once been full of thrill and adventure, now found himself longing for the buzz that once filled his life. It had recently taken a turn for the simpler, more ordinary and sedentary lifestyle. On top of this Ratchet was bored. It seemed like ages since he had had contact with anyone, well besides clank that is. It was about noonish and he had still not gotten out of bed, he really didn't see the point any more. Nothing happened anymore. Sighing he heaved out of his cot and headed downstairs where Clank would probably be waiting.
Six months have passed since the dynamic duo had returned from their last quest to save the galaxy. Since then, the two hadn’t needed to participate in these activities and have stayed dormant since their last excursion. In fact, most forms of physical excursion was eliminated from their lifestyles. Of course, every once in a while a bolt needed to be tightened or some other menial task needed to be fulfilled yet their lives seemed empty. Needless to say, this lack of exercise has played a small toll on ratchets physical stature. His figure looked a bit thicker than it had six months ago, he was a long way from fat and still a bit of weight from even chubby, his shape was just a bit softer. He was no longer visibly muscular but only on the fringe of being considered toned. Ratchet didn't really mind or notice as the weight was so minimal that a week of intense workouts would put him back in his old 'hero' shape. Rounding the corner to the kitchen he spotted clank.
"Mornin’' Clank"
“Well, that would be a stretch, it’s past noon Ratchet.”
“…whatever it’s not like we have anything to do.”
“As a matter of fact I have some news. A new shopping center has just opened up not far from here. The ad in the paper says that it has that it has some restaurants, a Jiffy Loob, a heath and fitness store, and a Gadgetron Ship Shop.”
