Simba was truly stumped. While his daughter continued to gain weight, now sporting a second chin and quite the rear end, Simba decided that he and Rafiki needed to talk about his daughter's eating habits, and what she said to him a few moons ago.
"Rafiki, the kind of disrespect not only to her own body, but to me!" Simba said, pacing back and forth, Rafiki watching him.
"Simba, your daughter is not wrong." Rafiki said, a small grin appearing on his face.
"What!?" Simba spun around, glaring at Rafiki for a split second before calming himself down.
"If your daughter is happy, then why should you distrub that? She has a loving mate, and the lands are even more bountiful than after you had retaken the Pride-lands from Scar! The boost in population from the Outlanders integrating into our pride has made more mouths to feed, but has also given us twice as many hunters to feed them with. So, why not let your daughter be happy? I can check on her health every few moons or so if you truly think it'll become a problem. I have many an herb and brew to keep her healthy, do not worry, Simba. She'll be fine." Rafiki gave a caring smile to Simba when saying this, and Simba returned to his pacing, thinking on this.
"Hmm... I suppose you may be right, Rafiki. Although, I will still have a talk with her about that attitude she gave me the other day."
Rafiki chuckled to himself as Simba left.
"Oh, Simba. You really are just like your father..."
