She must have been captive at one point, because she never migrated and stayed close to the harbors and coastal communities, teasing the fishermen, playing with the locals and delighting any tourists that came to the otherwise quiet coastal getaway that you have since come to call home. You were between jobs at the time and had plenty of time to yourself, which you spent wandering the beaches thinking about life.
That was when you saw her for the first time. She had ventured into the shallow waters, almost beaching herself just as orcas do when hunting seals, but she had no motivation for being there other than possible curiosity. She was beautiful, and you found yourself drawn to her. She didn't stay long on the shore, but as you walked along, you found her swimming along with you out to sea, almost as if beckoning you to come join her.
Despite being a lovely day, there doesn't appear to be anyone around. Temptation rolls in.
