... Oh it's definitely a dragon... you think.
OK, that claw was right in front of your face so it's bound to look huge, now you look up in the dark and the shape above you looks powerful and lithe, wings spread wide on either side, long sinewy neck above, but somehow it doesn't look as big as you thought on first glance. You can barely make out any details in the dark, it's just a huge shadowy silhouette against the night sky.
"He.. nice dragon." you squeak, starting to shake as the reality of the situation hits you. This thing, whatever it is, is certainly bigger than you are and looks rather scary.
Suddenly there is a flash of light, lightning crashing through the night sky a long way off, and as you were looking up at the head you get a brief view of it. It's a creamy white, glinting almost in the lightning, but there is something odd about it. You make out a snout, horns, large dark eyes, but the flash is too short to make out much else.
In the dark following the lightning you can't make out much, but then feel more than see the shape loom over you.
The outline of a clawed hand (paw?) reaching towards you along with the shape of what you think is it's head gets close to your face, then the lightning flashes again.
In the following glare of light you get a better look and see...
