"Are you okay?" Rei repeated in a somewhat annoyed manner.
"Oh uh yeah!" Shinji replied, trying to get his mind away from Rei's sudden growth spurt.
"Ms. Langley wanted you to continue shopping correct?"
Nodding once Shinji turned around and started picking up all of the items he dropped, "Yeah, but I don't think I can. I mean all of this is so heavy! I think I'll have to call someone and get them to help me out." Shinji let out a depressed sigh as he tossed another two boxes on top of a pile of boxes he was carrying.
"Or I could help you." Rei noted, bending over and also lifting up some items.
His cheeks turning slightly red Shinji shook his head immediately, "No I can't! I couldn't make you do something like that!"
Appearing slightly confused Rei analyzed all of the items, " Why not? You said you needed help and logically I would be the best choice. And with your lack of muscle you definitely need help with all of the objects."
Hearing Rei's comment about his muscle Shinji's jaw dropped a bit, he forgot it was Rei he was talking to. She wouldn't hold back in a conversation. "Um maybe you're right but its about manners and being a gentleman!"
Turning an eye to Shinji Rei asked, "Do most gentlemen get into perverted situations like you?"
This time Shinji's jaw about fell off, by pure accident he had fallen into various perverted situations often involving Rei. "Um....no but......"
"Then you're no gentlemen, meaning no problem." The blue haired girl stated, lifting up a large amount of items with relative ease.
Shinji fell silent, nothing he could say or do would stop Rei so he just shrugged, "Fine, thank you for the help Rei."
Almost robotically Rei replied, "It's simply the smart thing to do with your situation."
Chuckling slightly Shinji piled the rest of the belongings on top of his already large pile and stood up, "No it's the right thing to do." He began awaiting a reply but when he turned to Rei something seemed off, aside from the pile of clothing,jewelry and other things blocking his vision. Was it just him or did Rei get about half a foot taller?
