You and Nolan went to the algebra class. While going there, you passed a few anthros. Some of them gave a genuine smile, but some shot some dirty looks or glares that sends chills up your spine. When you came into the classroom, the smell of papers attacks your senses. Nolan notices your reaction and asked, "What's wrong Wes? The smell of math too much for you?"."Yeah, what happened in here? In my old school, I am on advanced Math/Algebra lessons but I had never known math can create such an odour."
Nolan laughed, "I know right, the teacher really hates our scores last year and kept putting posters of the lesson topic all over the walls. The paint and papers create this smell. We all got used to it though." It's then when you noticed what looked like hundreds of posters of geometry, algebra, and graphs all over half the white walls of the class. But these posters are as tall houses and as wide as cars. "You guys call this the smell of math?" "Yeah, we called it that as a joke," Nolan answered.
The algebra teacher, an anthro fox teacher with thin glasses, came in, "Hello everyone, my name is Ms.Kiren and I am your algebra teacher for this year." Nolan whispers to you, "By the way, that's my mother. She just joined this school last year." "That would explain why you two look alike.", you whispered back. "As most of you might've noticed, today we have the arrival of a new special student for this school. Welcome to your first class in Tailwind High, Wes Schafer." You added a cheerful wave back to the other students."Now I want you all to treat him and everyone else in this classroom with respect."
"Today, we are going to learn about algebraic expressions and how do we use them in our daily lives. But before we start, why don't we ask Mr.Schafer here as the new student to find out what humans had learned in algebra for the past school years." You were surprised that they were learning algebraic expressions at this year as you learnt it 2 years ago. You answered back, "Well, we've learnt this 2 years ago and last year we were doing the laws of indices and a few others." "Wow! that's what we are going to learn next year! As all of you can see or probably hear, humans' education exceeds ours by 2 years in math. Now I'm sorry to say that we had to make this like a review for you Mr.Schafer, as there are other students I need to teach here." You think of this and you thought it wouldn't be such a burden as your future plans didn't have anything to do with mathematics. "Ohh it's ok, I won't mind."
Moving on to the class, Ms.Kiren addresses you as her class assistant and while the class is going, Nolan managed to sneak an introduction to his best friend next to you, Kala, a female grey wolf anthro.
