"Hold it right there you two."

In their haste to get out the door, the girls neglected the presence of Graces mother who was standing in the kitchen listening.

"Oh, mom! Hi. Its okay, schools cancelled."

Her mother raised an eyebrow and leaned up against the counter, adding the tone of irritation to her body.

"Okay, but arent you forgetting something?"

"Um . . . No, I dont think so."
