Upon returning, they had about 6 movies in hand and a cornucopia of candy & soda for this evening. "Alright!" Grace called, tossing her shoes in the corner. grace looked at Grace as she entered the door, she reached her shoulder! 'How is she missing this/' Claire sighed and her body began to burns she scratched her arms as her vision blurred. After a moments time it had stopped.
"Good morning girls...what are you doing home?" Came a sweet voice from the kitchen. Grace's mother entered from the kitchen doorway, her hands covered in dish soap. Grace was the second eldest in her family of 6: Mom (Diana) , Dad (Zack) , Michael (Older brother age 19 ), Bobby (age 7) and Marissa ( age 2). "We had no school today Ma..weird isn’t it?" Diana looked at the two and shrugged "I take it Miss Claire will be joining us this evening?" Diana asked like a bottler and Claire nodded as she laughed "Yes, pleased" Diana nodded and headed back into the kitchen.
"Oh Mom! Look what I found" grace smiled and walked into the kitchen. Claire felt her skin burn and she shuddered, looking into the mirror near her on the wall. Claire's eyes widened in surprise and shock as she saw her body begin to dwindle downward, soon reaching half the full body mirror. Claire began to flee up the stairs in attempt to hide from the others, imagine what they'd do to her if they found her shrunken! Claire found it wa sgetting harder to run the stairs as she continued to shrink. She ran past Micheal's, Marissa's and bobby's rooms until she really began to shrink. Now only reaching inche's in height, a foot or less, she had two choice: Run to the attic or into Diana and Zacks room.
