In the 25th Century the Human Republic discovers a star system several times larger than usual. Probes discover it's inhabited by Anthros. The Anthros stand at an average height of 100 miles tall and are at a early industrial era level of technology. After some debate it was decided to uplift them so they can join the humans on the galactic stage. First Contact was in short weird. Anthros were shocked that a species tinier than ants could be so powerful. Eventually the Anthros warmed up too humanity and accepted the gifts they'd be given. You are a member of a group of teachers, doctors, and engineers being sent to one of the more powerful anthro nations.
