You wake up in your bed and stretch. It's a brand new day, the first day of summer, and school has ended. You can't wait to play with your friends all summer long.
However, getting out of bed, you notice something that you have never seen before by your bed. It is a book, a photo album of sorts, and it has your name, "Jake" on the front. Curious, you open the book and flip through the pages.
There is a picture of you when you were very little, just a wee baby. You see your mom holding you and your dad by your moms side, but there is a weird sharp cream-colored thing on the ground. And in the next photo, you are lying on the tip of that weird thing and your parents are standing around it. You don't remember anything from that long ago, but still the picture looks odd.
In another photo, you think you are taking your first steps by the way your mom is supporting you, but the background looks weird. It's a goldish yellow color, but none of your walls look like that. You and your mother are also standing on a black surface about as wide as your room, and you cannot recognize that either.
On the last page, you are the age you are now, and you and your parents are standing in front of your house. However, this picture looks very wrong, as the grass is gold colored, wider than you, and several blades are much taller than the house. The sky looks wrong too; it is black and yellow with weird ripples...
Suddenly, you are very afraid. The sky in that picture looks exactly like an eye. And the grass in that picture looks more like hair than grass. You look at some of the earlier pictures and have a double take. That baby is lying in some sort of giant claw, and you are taking your first steps on some sort of super sized black hair! What could this possibly mean?
You open your windows to let some light in, but instead of the sun, you see that same eye you saw in the picture! You jump back as the eye blinks, and an eyelash thicker than you are tall lightly sweeps the window. Suddenly, a booming voice comes from far below, from a creature that must be at least fifty miles tall:
"Good to see you awake, little bro!"
