This choice: A tiger who's a hundred miles tall. • Go Back...
Chapter #5
Colossal kitty
by: Unknown
God. Damn. The tiger was huge. . . like all the inhabitants of this world, he was nearly a hundred miles tall when fully grown, so massive that you find yourself unable to even focus on his entire face as he peers in at you. Your eyes dart from that wide muzzle to those piercing amber eyes to the mile wide nose. . . hell, if it weren't for the distinct orange and ebon stripes of a bengal, you wouldn't even be certain it was a tiger.
The whole world seemed to shake as your containment unit was taken from the stack, a glance over your shoulder at the remaining cubes a brief reminder of just how many humans were in this holding facility, waiting for caretakers to take them home.
Your attention turned once again to the cat that carried you, the entire structure you're in carried on the very tip of his finger. A few attempts at calling up to him are all but completely fruitless, the titan can't hear a word you're saying yet.
Every step he takes causes you to bounce roughly in your transport cube, only the protective belt you're wearing keeping you from getting bruised. The belts, thankfully, were one of the first things you got when arriving on this world, both protecting you from harm and allowing for conversation with a giant, so long as they were wearing a receiver tuned to your belt. . . the explanation of the scientific principals were well over your head, but the basic concept of a combination walkie-talkie and force field belt made sense.
The cat lifts you to his face as he squints, peering at the you again as he leaves the store, his eyes lit up with. . .
