You wake to find a bloke dressed in robes standing over you.
"You must rise, my lord," He addresses you, "The Festival of the Harvest is about to begin. Clover says that it's the highlight of the year for her." You get up feeling confused. You do not know where you are nor who Clover is.
After you are dressed in what look like extravagent garments you speak to who must be a high-ranking priest.
"Remind me," You instruct him, "Who is Clover?" He looks at you with shock and says.
"My lord, she is but the great goddess of the harvest, she is the lady of food and the mistress of refreshment." You nod to him now knowing what he is talking about.
The priest leads you out of what looks like a mansion of some kind; at first glance you think it's Georgian until you notice that the gardens seem rather small and contain more fruit trees thn ornamental plants. You follow him through the streets of the surrounding city where people bow to you as you pass, you acknowledge their bows while the priest just waves them off; they must be bowing to both of you.
The architecture of this city seems to be rather Athenian, like you've just entered Ancient Greece but there was never a Greek goddess called Clover. You remember that Ancient Greece had a goddess of the harvest called 'Demeter'. Eventually the priest leads you up the steps to a temple that looks like a mini-Acropolis.
Inside the temple several bushels and bails of hay are stacked in a ceremonial fashion on both sides of the aisle down which you walk. Deep friezes run along the walls depicting scenes of prosperous harvests and of an unusual sight, a colossal anthropomorphic rabbit floating in the sky smiling down upon the farmers.
