Daniel, a friend from Doug made when he visited...

He's not sure how long he's been floating around when a voice breaks the silence: "Hey Doug, remember me? It's Daniel."

Doug remembered. He'd met Daniel on his last visit to grandmas, five years ago. They had become friends quickly and had spent nearly every day of Doug's visit together. Daniel had been a swimmer like Doug, just a tad more muscled and a fair bit faster. They'd spent a lot of time at a nearby river. Doug remembered racing Daniel across the river, climbing the little cliff by the river and jump into the water and lots of other challenging activities they had done.
Doug eagerly turned around to meet his old friend. He nearly jumped out of the pool.
"Of course I remember, we used to be all over the place, never staying still for long." Doug said.
"Yes, we had some amazing days back then" Daniel agreed.
After a good hug, Doug stepped back to get a proper look at Daniel. Daniel was wearing just a pair of shorts and some sandals. He had grown to be almost a head taller than Doug and was sporting a nice summer tan and a...
