The Redhotheaded Overlord and her friend.

A few days after the plan hatched in his head, Thiel sat outside of the palace atop the gates, waiting for the guests to arrive. Tapping his foot impatiently, he looked towards the Dimensional Gate for any sign of them.

"She said she'd be here at precisely five-thirty. It's always like her to be late." he grumbled, not noticing the light tap of boots beside him. After a few moments, he toppled from the gate as that same boot crashed into the back of his skull.

"What was that you little moron?" Overlord Prier called down at him, grinning from ear to ear. "And here I was thinking I wouldn't have to kick your ass within five minutes of getting here. Guess some things NEVER change!"

Rubbing the back of his head, Thiel scowled mightily up at the redheaded Overlord. "And you're as aggressive as always...I'd think after a few years of nothing but killing demons in defense of your territory your temper would have mellowed out a bit!"

A young woman looked down over Thiel, grinning. "Well well...so you're the demon that Prier here said she kicked around for most of her time as a Demon Slayer?" She chuckled, her hands on her hips. "Not too impressive, really..."

"Oh, he's a whipped dog now. Serving Rozalin and all've really mellowed him out, I'd imagine! He's got a lovely little blonde-haired red-eyed demon girl all of his own!" Priere grinned and hopped off of the gate, landing next to the newcomer and placing and arm around her shoulder. "Thiel, meet Noel Cressoon! She's a Master Ace from Cerus' world, and a good friend of both of us."

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Dog." Noel chuckled, offering a hand to Thiel to help him up. "Now then...where's this Overlord that we're supposed to fear?"

Dusting off his jacket, Thiel stood up and smiled slightly. "Nice to meet you Miss Cressoon...and she's just inside having lunch. Shall we join her?" His smile grew as he hopped over the gate, opening it up for the two guests and motioning for them to follow.
