I'm bored!

Nikki finished her bag of chips quickly (she was a quick eater) and then wandered into the kitchen, bored again. Her mom was making sandwiches for the picnic, a huge pile of them.
"Why are you making so much?" asked Nikki, confused.
"I've invited a couple of your friends to come with us, and I'm supplying sandwiches for everyone"
"Oh" for a moment she'd thought they were all for her "Mom, I'm bored"
"Nikki, please, can't you entertain yourself? Mommy's busy right now"
"But I'm bored" she whined, screwing up her pudgy face.
"Fine" said her Mom "Take this and go and watch TV or something. Put on a film"
She handed Nikki a massive chocolate bar, her need for peace outweighing her concerns for her child's weight.
"Thank's Mommy" said Nikki happily, and went through to the sitting rom again.
