The next morning sun was shining in Riley's room. After dinner yesterday she got some ice cream and after that she was really stuffed.
She curled herself up in her blanket and closed her eyes. Ready to fall back asleep again. The next moment her mother walked in.
"Rise and shine. The sun is up."
"Yeah i noticed that." Riley said and let out a yawn.
Her mother took her out her bed, grabbed some clothes and started to dress Riley.
"What's for breakfast?" She asked.
"Well you may choose. Waffles or pancakes."
Riley licked her lips
"Can i have both mommy? Please?"
"Well i suppose. since you asked so nicely. But you're sure that's not too much for you?"
"No mommy i can eat that all. I really can."
"Well all right then."
She first pressed Riley's chubby body in a red sweater, white tights and some blue jeans. It was still very cold but There was a good chance Riley would stay inside but just to be sure.
"Now let's go downstairs. Lissy is also hungry for breakfast."
"Lissy is't at school?" Riley asked confused.
"It's Saturday honey."
Riley hated Saturday. Her sister was mostly home then the whole day and probably invited some friends. And she mostly need to stay out of the way.
"And do some of her friends come over?"
"Just one. Her boyfriend."
"Does Lissy have a boyfriend?" Riley asked.
"For a few days. Is't that nice."
Riley fast climbed in her high chair for her breakfast. Her mother baked some waffles for her and Lissy and after that some pancakes for Riley.
Lissy let out a sound of disgust when she heard her mother baked some more pancakes for Riley.
"You still want some more pancakes. If you keep eating like that you'll look like miss piggy!"
Riley ignored her sister and dove in her pancakes but rubbed with one of her hands over her potbelly. So what if she was a little chubby. She did't mind. Besides the pancakes tasted so good that it would be waste not to eat them.
Riley then reminded what her mother said.
"Heard you got a boyfriend."
"Mom do you really need to tell that brat that i have a boyfriend?!
"Riley will find out soon enough and she is not a brat. Be a little nicer to your sister."
"There's no reason for that."
Riley swallowed the last of her pancakes that she finished of very quick then she heard the doorbell.
"Oh that's him." Her sister said and ran too the door.
Riley was so curious so she walked to the door to see her sisters boyfriend. The boy who came in looked really nice. he had dark blond hair, a perfect skin, a nice smile and he also seemed to have some muscle.
"Well i must admit my sister has a good taste at looks." Riley mumbled.
The boy kissed Lissy and said that he would like to met the rest of th family. Riley quick ran back to the living room. A few seconds later the boy and Lissy walked in. The boy was very polite to the parents and said his name was John. After that he noticed Riley who was sitting in front of the fire place.
"And who is that little girl?"
"That's just my little sister."
"She's so cute."
"She's not."
Riley shook the hand of John an said with a smile: "I'm Riley."
Suddenly Riley sniffed and looked at Johns bag.
"I smell donuts!"
"Oh i bought two boxes of donuts. I would help Lissy a little studying for a test and i thought to take some donuts to eat while studying. But you can take a box. I have two any way."
Riley started to like John and hugged his legs.
"That means she likes you." Riley's father said not wanting John would to get the wrong idea.
