Chapter #6

Primitive Elephants

    by: Unknown
Everyone knows that the long, near endless expanse of plains to the east of the continent is elephant territory. These massive beings are, by any standard, primitive. Their technology has has only recently reached the point where they learned to use fire, and their weapons are nothing more than simple spears, clubs, and bows. Of course, in spite of this, none of the other species dare to attack these tribal beings due to the sheer size and strength of them. When it's widely believed that a single elephant can decimate an entire squadron of any other race, the general consensus from everyone else is to simply leave them alone and let them do their own thing. Thankfully, the pachyderms haven't shown any aggression in recent years. The elephants themselves have mixed views on the outsiders, but ultimately have adopted the same "let them be" mentality so long as there is no aggression against them.
This general fear has minimized any real interaction, though they have allowed some outsiders to live among them, mostly various rodent refugees escaping the cat nations hoping the elephants reputation alone would keep them safe. Though the tribes welcomed these wayward souls, there seemed to be some disdain towards the advanced culture and lifestyles of these smaller beings. These tribal people are lead by a chief who despite his more than ample stomach (which their culture views as a sign of his ruling social status) could easily lift a building.

One day a strange light bathed the community. No-one was sure what was going on, but something was definitely happening as a result of it.

You have the following choices:

1. Just the elephants grew

*Noteb*
2. The elephants and the rodents both grew

*Noteb*
3. only the rodents grew.

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
