They drive off through the streets of Springfield until they pass a disused building with a chain-link fence around it and a sign saying "Keep out. Scheduled for demolition." Etc. First Lenny and Carl look around the surrounding street both using metal detectors but finding nothing that resembles the TF ring/s they decide to check inside the abandoned gambling palace. "Heh, uh how do we get in anyways?" Carl asked aware that the fence is padlocked and the doors locked. "Don't worry." says Lenny. "I still got a key for one of the back doors." The duo head around the back of the architecturally lavish yet abandoned building and come upon a loading bay for trucks and wagons to unload. Lenny begins to talk as he takes out a set of keys. "See Burns forgot to ask Homer for his key back because he's always forgetting about him so I asked him if I could have it and he said yes." Lenny says as he takes a key and opens one of the smaller doors leading into the casino. The pair walk inside. It's dark as the power has been cut and as they move into what was the kitchen most of the fittings are no longer there having been removed ready for the building to be demolished. "Man this is creepy." says Carl and Lenny replies. "Yeah it really changes the acoustics of a place when you take all the stuff out doesn't it? Makes it seem like a haunted house." They head through a double door which leads them into what was one of the main gaming rooms where the slot machines, card tables and roulette used to be. Now it's just a dark empty space with the odd crate, pile of rubbish and the odd rat sniffing around.
"Ok lets split up now. I'll take this floor you go check the next one." Lenny says. "Sounds like a plan." Carl replies and they both switch on their metal detectors and begin sweeping through the abandoned building. They find nothing on the first two floors so they decide to go check the other two upper floors. Lenny is on the second floor up and Carl is on the third and top floor. One of them finds a TF ring but which one?
