Zach turned around and saw no one but and old shaggy dog, he just shrugged and walked away.
"Zach!" someone shouted. Zach turned around expecting to see the strange dog but instead saw an old man that had a very close resemblance to the dog. "How do you know my name?" asked Zach with a sort of puzzled, scared look on his face.
The old man "Didn't your mother ever tech you not to talk to strangers son?"
Zach "Yea but you."
he was interrupted,
The old man, "Yea but nothing that's no excuse. Why didn't you answer when I called you earlier?'
Zach, still puzzled, "I didn't see anyone when I turned around."
The old man, "You're not a very smart child are you? I just told you, you must not talk to strangers and yet still you're talking to me?" "The dog was right there, you could've at least pat him on the head."
Zach even more confused, "I'll stop talking to you as soon as you stop talking to me."
Zach decides to walk off.
The old man calls behind him, "Boy didn't your mother ever teach you to have respect for your elders?" "Don't walk off on me when I'm talking to you, now answer my question!"
Zach turned around now more confused he began to say, "What is your deal old man," when he saw the old shaggy dog sitting there. "Oh great first a crazy old man now a stupid dog is flowing me!" "Shoo get lost you mangy mutt!" he yelled.
Just then the dog transformed back into the old man and he said, " The apple certainly doesn't fall far from the tree, I see. That's why you like your mother and the rest of your family are cursed!" He turned back into the dog and went the other way.
At this point Zach thought he was going crazy, he'd never seen a man turn into a dog. Zach was confused and very frightened, he ran to school as fast as he could.
