It was a normal afternoon for Miranda. Keyword 'was'.
She was walking from the bus stop to her house, listening music and chewing gum, her hands in her hoodie's pockets, when suddenly the strangest thing she'd ever seen passed right beside her. If she'd kept looking at the shop windows fr a second more she would have missed it.
You were trying your best to look as fake as possible, but Miranda saw straight through your attempt. Also you headless body right beside Sarah wasn't exactly helping in your charade.
Miranda gulped at your sight, then she tried to control herself to not draw attention on her. "OMG!" She tought "is that? Is that what I think it is?" nonchalantly, she stopped for a second in front of the shop window, after which she started to tail you from a distance, maintaing a bored anf careless expression "HOLY MIKE ON A BIKE IT IS! A severed head. Of a guy! Somebody upthere loves me! How's it even possible? Oh, what do I care? 'Don't look a gift horse in the mouth'. Oh crap, I'm losing 'em, better pick up the pace."
She keeps on discreetly following you...
