Knuckles should show Sonic's who's boss...

The best way to keep someone's mouth shut is to stuff it for them.
Knuckles hears a plane above him, he looks up and sure enough, it's Tails in his Tornado, looking around on an atmospheric day. Knuckles calls out to him and waves, and Tails turns in the air and makes a landing next to Knuckles.
"What do you need, Knuckles?" Tails cheerfully asked as he lifted his goggles to his forehead.
"Hey, I was wondering if you could arrange something for me and Sonic..." Knuckles paused a second. "You know, an eating contest."
Tails' eyes widened in slight confusion. "An... eating contest?"
"Yeah, whoever eats the most in, say 1, maybe 2 minutes gets to choose the prize. Do you know where we could get a lot of food?"
"Yeah, Sonic's got reputation in the city so he can have whatever he wants... well, as long as it doesn't bankrupt anyone." Tails finished with a giggle.
Knuckles chuckled a little at the thought of Sonic bankrupting the city. "Yeah, so, could we get it set up later today? Or would it have to wait till tomorrow or later?"
"Wait? This is Sonic you're talking about here" Tails added, giggled again.
Knuckles and Tails laughed together a bit, before Tails took off to tell Sonic about this.

Sonic and Knuckles sat on opposite ends of a table loaded with food. Chili dogs, chips, donuts, fruit pies, you name it, it was there in some form. The rivals glared at each other as Tails finished the last tweaking of his machine nearby.
Tails had created a machine that watched and tracked how many calories Sonic and Knuckles consume. They have to actually be swallowed and kept down, no cheating allowed. Sonic smugly glared at Knuckles, as if to say "You have no idea what you're in for, buddy!", and Knuckles glared back as if to say "How badly you'll lose? I'll admit that!"
Tails hovered his finger over the START button. "Whoever eats the most in 2 minutes is the winner! On your marks!... Get set!..."
"GO!!"
Sonic and Knuckles stuff themselves silly for a couple of minutes, just imagine lots of sounds of hasty eating.
