You are James part of the organization Team Rocket. Today you and your teammates Jessie and Meowth were out in a forest testing a new device that the boss gave to you guys called the body switching ray. Essentially it swaps the minds of any two living things and switches there body. Its currently just a porotype which why you guys are testing it on random trainers and in there confusion you guys steal there Pokémon.
Everything was surprisingly going well for all three of you which normally doesn't happen due to those darn twerps. To which right on that thought you all hear a familiar voice say "Pikachu, let's go!". Which this immediately makes you 3 follow the sound of the voice and while staying hidden in the nearby bushes you, Jessie, and Meowth see the twerps. Specifically Ash and Dawn having a Pokémon battle.
Pikachu is battling Piplup currently. And seeing this you hear Meowth whisper "This is it we can finally capture Pikachu with our new body swapping device." Everything looked easy and simple. You three would totally catch them off guard. Though instead of doing this stealthily, you and Jessie jump out of the bushes and began singing the normal Team Rocket theme.
Which this of course catches Ash and Dawns attention right as Pikachu makes Piplup faint. But also in time for them to roll there eyes as Ash begins to direct Pikachu to attack you guys. As you then pull out the body swapping machine while panicking on how little time you have to aim and fire it. Right as you hear Ash yell "Pikachu use thunderbolt" You are able to fire the body swapping machine as the thunderbolt hits the machine causing the ray to get off course and hit Piplup whom is fainted on the ground at this moment, before the thunderbolt blows up the machine in your guys faces, sending Team Rocket blasting off again.
Though strangely enough you found yourself not being blown into the sky like the other two, but instead lying injured on the ground feeling different. As you feel so tired and weak for some reason as your eyes are also closed at the moment. You suddenly then hear the twerp Dawn's voice call out in your direction "Piplup... Piplup" you lye there a bit confused on what's going on as you attempt to open your eyes.
When you open your eyes everything around seems to be still the same. But as the sound of Dawn's voice becomes louder with her saying "Piplup.. are you okay?... Piplup?...". Your vision begins to become more clear as you see a pink boot which is Dawns whom is only about a foot away from you. As you are suddenly lifted off the ground by Dawn very easily.
Your so confused on what is going on as you are lifted up to Dawns face. You look into her deep blue eyes and she is just looking back at you up and down looking to make sure your okay as she smiles while seeing nothing to serious and says in a joyful tone says "Piplup, you feeling okay? We saw you get hit by Team Rockets strange ray thing." She says with a look of concern as she begins to set you down and runs her hand across your head as she pets you gently.
At this point your so confused on what is going on as you stand there while Dawn whom is crouched down petting your head. You question if this is all just some kind of strange dream. But feeling and seeing everything you know its not, especially when Dawn begins to stand to her full height of about 4 and half feet tall. She is towering over you as you are only about the height of her pink boot.
This is when you realize that you are now a Piplup. I mean your still you being James but now you are a Piplup as you mistakenly swapped bodies with Dawn's Piplup. Dawn smiles looking down at you as she is completely oblivious to you being James from Team Rocket and thinks you are just her ordinary Piplup as she says "Piplup you haven't said anything yet, are you feeling okay?"
(I guess the question is can James speak normally or is his speech now "Piplup")
