You spin the dial and hit the red button again. You cover your eyes as a bright flash goes off around you. When you unshield your eyes, you're still standing next to an almost naked Jamie, but you're now in the woods. Looking down to examine the belt, it displays that you are in 1885, but the battery icon is blinking red, and you know that's no good.
"What is going on? Where are we?" Jamie is freaking out, and she tries to cover her body with her dainty arms.
"Follow behind me, and make sure to stay out of sigh, I'm going to go ahead for a second and see if there's any civilization around here," You reply, basically ignoring her. She looks at you doubtfully, obviously not trusting your instinct.
Sneaking forewards through the woods, you find that your old main street is still around, as you peer at it from behind some shrubberies. The street is slightly busy, with people walking back and forth, the men all dressed in neat tuxes, and the women with veils, parasols, and bustle dresses. The roads are made of cobblestone and horses pull carraiges lightly over the rocky path.
