This choice: An Image appears from the belt asking date, time, and location of travel • Go Back...Chapter #3An Image appears from the belt asking date, tim... by: AverageJack A hologram is generated from the area of the belt buckle, generating the image of a face right in front of you.
Before being able to figure out what is going on, the figure speaks, “Please name date, time and location to proceed to desired reality.”
Realizing that you must be wearing some type of novelty belt, you want to see if it responds to voice commends.
“1102AD, 20h00, Jerusalem”, you say having recently read a book on the crusades and the Knights Templar.
A sudden flash makes you dive for cover, but instead of hitting the concrete sidewalk, you hit a cobblestone street. You shake your head and look around. Feeling slightly dazed, you realize that you must have hit your head on the sidewalk, because you’re pretty sure that you are hallucinating.
Getting to your feet, you try to shake off the confusion and figure out what is going on.
“Year – 1102AD, time – 20h00, location Jerusalem”, the belt says.
Looking down at the belt, you freeze up and colt shiver shoots up your spine.
“Noooo”, you hear the words escaping your lips as you look around, suddenly aware that you are indeed not wearing a novelty belt.
“Halt, who goes there”, you hear from behind you. Swinging around, you see two men with battle-axes and heavy armour approaching you.
To your left, a dark alley leads away from your ‘new friends’. Alternatively, the two gentlemen might be able to help you.
