You are walking home from your retail sales manager job on an uneventful day. Your job is really close to your home and you make a lot of money there so although you have a nice car and house you figure it's more efficient to walk. It's a pretty easy job and honestly you could go missing and still make a pay check because the job is practically self-running, biggest steal you make and you are seen as a young and rising manager. But anyways...
You are walking on your street with your house just a few down when you pass a two storied house on this boring afternoon. You don't know just how interesting it's about to become as you feel a tingling sensation as you pass this house.
Meanwhile Wayne Szalinski is in his attic cleaning up when he bumps into his machine setting it off. He looks around to make sure he didn't shrink anything, not wanting to create another crazy situation for his family or heavens forbid some stranger outside, especially nowadays with people willing to sue for anything or find out about the shrink ray and the government try to confiscate it. Nothing appeared to be shrunk and the window is closed so everyone outside should be fine, he doesn't know that the beam actually went through the glass window and hit you!
You watch as the world near instantly becomes MASSIVE! You are standing on the sidewalk in front of this house and the sidewalk is now filled with boulders and is very jagged and uneven that you feel like it's an ankle sprain waiting to happen if you keep trying to walk on it, the grass are as tall as trees and cover a vast majority of the area outside the sidewalk and driveway like a jungle, just to your side is the mailbox as tall as a city building and behind you is the road which is now a hard, barren wasteland leading to a yard of similar features. Your house is now miles away and would take hours upon hours to reach but you live alone and would not be able to llive like this, you need to find help somehow and get to the bottom of what exactly happened!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
You hear this loud booming noise and the ground shakes like an earthquake with each boom, you look behind yourself and nearly piss yourself as you see a massive giant human being, a resident of the household you are in front of no doubt. They are over 700 feet tall in height or 220 meters! The cause of the boom and earthquakes are their footsteps. You wish you took more time to get to know the neighbors on your street because you don't know these people but you will have to get to know them if you want help as the giant is....
