Nick stands back and kicks his shoes off, then bends down and lifts the pair with his left hand, dumping them on the desk in front of you with a heavy thud. The shoes are the size of two four wheel drives, with long, curved arches and sharp ridges in the thick black layers of rubber on their bottoms. The hot aroma of foot odour reaches you where you are, and you're overcome with the urge to run. Nick scoops Sebastian up, and the defenseless boy goes rigid but passive in his hand. A look of unspeakable horror magnifies his dark eyes as they disappear into Nick's shoe, his feet disappearing last. Next, Nick smiles down at you and hefts you into the air, lowering you into the shoe. You panic, gripping the shoe's sides, feeling the foot odour hit your backside like steam, and breathlessly you shake your head, trying to beg for the huge man's pity. Nick grins heartily and shoves you the rest of the way in. Then he pulls over a chair and jams the shoes on, tying the laces tightly. You squeal as the damp white sock slams against your face, knocking the air out of you. Sebastian, stricken with fear, doesn't make a sound. Nick goes for a walk to visit a friend of his, squashing your body against the wet sole of the shoe with every step. Soon the sweat imbedded in the shoe's fabric has drenched your shirt through and made your skin slippery. After a few hours, while Nick laughs happily with his friends, his socks are dripping with sweat and you're forced to swallow gallons of the bitter liquid, gasping in between on the suffocating air inside the disgusting sauna that is Nick's New Balance shoe.
