Stan realized that he could use the stone to one up his ex-girlfriend, Wendy, at the annual Couples day at the Cartmanland (Cartman never was able to buy back that amusement park, the name was just left as that to further rub it in Cartman's face - and couples get a free day once every year there) - all he needed was to wish for a girlfriend to use at Cartmanland in order to rub it in Wendy's face (and maybe get her jealous to where she would want to have him back).
However Stan then remembered that he had also promised his super best friend, Kyle, that he would spend the day with him today, which was Couples Day. Though that only gave Stan a certain idea to get around that.
