Where have you been?

"Where have you been?!" Ichabod demands angerly "I haven't seen you since I was six!"

"I had a bit of trouble with the law..." You begin to say

"Yeah don't I know it!" Ichabod smacks back "You're practicly #3 on America's most wanted!"

"There's no need for that kind of languge!" You say firmly "I may not have always been there but I'm still your father, and I could still tan your hide if you sass back at me!"

Ichabod gets nervous at the physical threat and begins to back down...

"OK, OK I'm sorry." He quickly says "But Father you picked a REALLY bad time to show up!"

"Perhaps yes, perhaps no." You say "They way I see it, I came just in time to save you from a beating."

"I'm just fine on my own!" Your son says "I don't need to be protected."
