Leaving Ichigo downstairs, Renji went to go investigate the berries bedroom. "There's gotta be something there that'll tell me something..." he said as he pushed open the door. While the room didn't stink as much as the living room, and did have a lingering scent that made Renji cover his nose a little. "Damn, it looks like a bomb went off in here." Ichigo's room was not in the pristine condition that it had been in last week. The bed was unmade, the closet door was open and had a small pile of clothes coming out of it. On the desk he noticed a few bowls and glasses, some of which still had food and drink in them. He looked up and spotted a pair of briefs on the fan. Renji couldn't fathom how the even got up there and decided to jump and grab them. Looking at them he became disgusted at the brown skid and threw them across the room.
It didn't seem like there was any evidence in the room, except for the fact that his friend had become quite the slob. Turning to leave the room, Renji noticed something sparkling under the bed. Reaching his hand under the bed he grabbed the object and took a closer look. It was a syringe that still had a little bit of liquid still left in it. "I wonder where this came from? I doubt Ichigo's taking drugs..." Just then a loud noise from downstairs startled Renji, who accidentaly drove the syringe into his hand. "Oh man, I don't even know what that stuff was. I hope I'll be okay."
Back in Soul Society Mayuri sighed. When the first dose did not activate right away, he had gone back and gave the human boy a stronger dose. He never thought he would leave the syringe behind by accident. "Oh well, it's the idiots own fault. Though I wonder what a small dose like that would do to someone..."
