As the comet observatory soared through the heavens, Rosalina watched as the lumas danced, played, and chased each other. She smiled warmly at them.
As she did so, she reflected on their deep, endless, passionate love for their food of choice: the star bit. Certainly, they were pretty plentiful compared to other food sources available in deep space, but the observatory's kitchen was always kept well stocked with normal food for her, the observatory's only human resident, and Rosalina never felt the urge to dine on her companions' beloved snack.
But...well, it had been a lull in travelling the past few weeks, without much in the way of interest, distraction, or purpose. Rosalina's mind wandered. And because of that, she was about to say something that would change the universe:
"Excuse me, Polari. Would you please pass me a star bit?"
The wise, dark luma looked speculatively at Rosalina.
"Are you certain?"
"Yes, I've always been somewhat curious what they taste like."
"Well, alright, here you are."
And so Rosalina took the star bit, raised it to her mouth, and ate it. She then said...
