It must've been something in her genes as she hadn't gained a pound and ate enough food to feed a family of 6 per course. It was almost mind boggling, many of the women in guardia.
But anyways that's where this particular story comes to an end and we reach the low light of the tale.
Knight Commander: Lord Crono its Porre... they've invaded. Their just a days march out of Truce.
Crono looks at his commander in shock and grits his teeth
Crono: ... assemble a force if its a battle they seek then so be it.
(sometime later)
Crono stood at the head of his army infront of them was the army of Porre.
Crono: Porrian citizens, we of Guardia have ever been your friends and allies. Why is it now that you rise up against us. Certinaly if their is a peaceful way to solve this problem.
From the line of Porre one man stepped foward laughing as he did. He wore an orange cape that seemed to cover his whole body, and Crono couldn't help but get the feeling that he had seen him somewhere... or somewhen before.
Crono: Im-impossible... Dalton.
Dalton chuckles as he spreads his arm and poses.
Dalton: The one and only, just like I told you in the dimensional vortex. I would head build the greatest army the world has ever seen in Porre.
He motions behind him the soldiers of Porre stood at the ready.
Dalton: It was real easy to take command of the town from that selfless mayor. heheheh a few parlor tricks and suddenly Dalton is king again hahahahaha.
Dalton chuckles as he runs his hand through his hair.
Dalton: Now Crono you and your friends have cost me a great deal. I could've had my own time period to rule... but you and your friends rose up and stopped me and banished me to that god awful realm for thousands of years. No bother I've sat in wait all those years plotting. Now I shall have my revenge and at long last I shall be king again.
Dalton turns around and walks slowly back to his lines
Dalton: Oh and by the way thanks for leaving that robot behind. Don't think I forgot what he looked like it's thanks to him that we've been able to design our weapons.
Dalton chuckles and retreats into the lines.
Dalton: All units open fire.
At his signal the guns opened fire and obliterated the front lines of the Guardia troops. Crono ordered a counterattack but mere moments later cannon fire opened up and further caused havoc in the Guardia lines. The battle was over as swiftly as it had begun. Crono and his knights faught bravely but alas they were crushed under the Porre troops.
Dalton: ... all to easy.
Dalton chuckles as he walks up to the injured Crono who looks up at Dalton.
Dalton: In hindsight of my revenge I realize now. That I should I should be thanking you after all its thanks to you that I have a new more powerful kingdom. Ontop of which thanks to that diminsion I'm immortal... the immortal king Dalton. Oh yes I think I like the name of that.
He chuckles and pulls out a small gun.
Dalton: and years to study the technology of the future.
He puts the gun to Crono's head
Dalton: Let it be said that here and now the kingdom of Guardia has fallen...
Dalton pulls the trigger killing Crono.
Dalton: Heh this world is mine now and thanks to you their is no lavos or anything that will end my reign.
