Unfortunately for you, your scream is drowned out by the buzzing of Dona’s cellphone. It was no use. You were practically losing your voice now. Your sound waves probably couldn’t even reach her ears. She was distracted by her phone’s messages. If only you had yours on, then you might have been saved. You cursed yourself for being so unlucky. Uneasily watching her ginormous boots, you carefully stepped away from her. You couldn’t get her attention if you were dead. How could you contact her though?
Dona slid her phone back into her pocket and confidently folded her arms across her chest. Rolled up jacket sleeves revealed impressive forearm muscles. Her eyes carefully scanned the room. Suddenly, she leapt from her position at the door frame and pulled the sheets off your bed, then quickly opened your closet door. Both times flying quickly over your head, boots shaking the ground.
“I know you’re hiding around here little guy...” You were shocked at first, but then you realized she was using another usual nickname for you. It came from friendly competition. The fact that she could lift more than you, despite the amount you worked out. And she was looking around so suspiciously because you had joked about trying to completely hide from her to test her skills. You regretted it now. She didn’t know that you had shrunk, it was all just a cruel coincidence. Your eyes fill with tears. At the very least you just wanted to talk to her.
“Tater Todd...” Dona’s voice purrs as her massive form moves across the room. She drops flat to the floor in a push-up position to look under your bed. Now was your chance!
