Chapter #3

A Journey Inside

    by: Unknown
I quickly decide that the living room would be a good place to go for help or to possibly get noticed. I could go down the hallway outside of my bedroom door and then once I'm down the hallway I'd be at the stairway, somehow climb down the stairs, then I'd be at the front door. There is a table by the front door before the stairway which I could hide under in case something happens, and I'd basically be in the same room as the living room and I could make the trip under a couch furniture by the door and I'll have a nice short cut to the coffee table.

A nice plan. First thing is first, the upstairs room, including mine, have thick carpet while the downstairs has wood hard floor. I'd have to maneuver through the carpet. My body was partly sunk under the fabric fibers and I still couldn't even touch the actual ground underneath the carpet, thank god carpet is dense and compacted together enough to walk ontop of it even at my size. I climbed on top of the fibers and carefully walked on top of the carpet fibers, feeling like a tiny insect would feel. I made it to my bedroom door, it was closed but I was so tiny that the gap under the door was so huge that it was maybe three stories high to me. I easily went under the door and I was in the hallway.

I looked to the left and right, the bedroom doors were closed and even though my ears were tiny I couldn't feel the vibrations of sounds or movement on the second or first floors, maybe those footfalls were imagination and everybody is still asleep... Oh well no point in dealing with sleeping giantesses who might roll over on top of me! I walked to the left in the hallway heading towards the living room. The walk wasn't too long since my room was the closest to the hallway.

The walk to almost an hour but eventually I made it to the now city-sized room with mountainous furniture. Needing rest from the walking, I had to get shelter, so I made my way under the safety of the living room table.

Maybe I'll take a quick nap and make it to the living room table...........Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...........
