“EHHHHHHHHHH!?!?” Usopp screamed, his voice causing birds to take off in fright and his face contorting in another one of his famous Wild Takes, before rounding on the reader- Yes, YOU! “Why’d you have to pick the hardest choice?! Are you trying to kill us or something, you idiot?!” Chopper chimed in with an an angry ‘Idiot!’ as well, before Nami slapped the two on the back of the head, her fear of Robin forgotten for now as she reprimanded her crew mates for their foolishness.
“Cut it out, you two! Stop insulting the person reading the chapter or they’ll click off and never continue the story!” she yelled at them.
“BUT NAMI!” Ussop shouted back, “What’s the point of having readers if we have to fight monsters and horrors they concoct for their own amusement!? I wanna liveeeeee!”
Royce sweatdropped. “Are....they always like this?” He asked Franky, stunned. “Pretty much, just with less meta text.” was the Cyborg’s reply.
“Oi Oi Oi Oi! Focus, everyone!” yelled Luffy, now with a goal in mind. “We need to focus on getting food! I’ll lead one party, Brook can lead another, and Royce can join whichever group he wants. Seem fair?” The rest of the Straw Hats took a sec to think, and then agreed with Luffy’s plan. The idiot captain then divided the crew up into teams.
“Robin, Zoro, Chopper, Usopp. You’re with Brook.” The members of Team Brook nodded while Ussop trembled slightly. “Hey, um....is it alright if I bring up the rear?” he asked, scared of what horrors could await them. Zoro chuckled. “Nah, you’re going at the front.” Ussop let out a wail of despair at this. “WHY MUST THIS WRITER BE SO CRUEL!?” he dramatically shouted. Meanwhile, Brook chuckled. “Yohoohoohoo! I would trust Usopp with leading the pack over Zoro any day.” This comment got him a sharp “OI!” from an agitated Zoro.
Franky, Sanji, Nami. You’re with me.” Sanji began to do his swooning routine over Nami with a ‘Nami-swannnn~‘ as she breathed a sigh of relief that she was’nt with Robin, or that Zoro wasn’t with Sanji. Meanwhile, Franky did a dramatic pose. “SSSSSUPER! We’ll bust right whatever danger waits on this island!”
That just left Royce Williams to make his pick of which team to go with. “My turn? I’ll pick.....”
