Cindy was surprised. She knew deer were common in the area, but she thought all of the construction would have scared them off. Cindy really appreciated the beauty and peaceful nature of these animals. As she tried to get a little closer, Cindy stepped on a branch which broke and frightened the deer.

They quickly ran away into the woods behind their house.
