Monster was confused as to why the girl's eyes suddenly rolled into her head and she lay back down appearently asleep. Monster was worried that she might be sick and carefully lifted the girl onto his back and positioned her between his wings. Monster knew that his father would be mad at him if he didn't come back with the water and filled the pail with water.
Monster turned back to head home carrying the bucket with his teeth and thought about the girl he had found. She seemed much smaller than his father so that could mean that she was younger than him, or they all just might be smaller than his father his father being a giant among them. Monster wondered if she was sick or injured and maybe that had been what had made her fall asleep so suddenly.
Monster shook his head, spilling a bit of water, just knowing that he didn't know enough of his father's race. His father almost never spoke to him and until now he had never seen anything else close to looking like his father. He hoped that his father knew more on the subject and could help him with the girl.
