Eleven years later, the dragon is a menace that...

Eleven years did not do anything to change the dragons view on people, in fact it had made them even worse. The dragon's hatred was immense and strong. Only a few times in his early years did he try to make friends. Both ended the same way, with the humans running away in fear. It was after this that the Dragon finally shut himself away from human companionship. The dragon had learned to never care about the humans. Since they saw him as a monster he would act like one.

For years the dragon hunted on humans, killing them any chance he got. He especially liked when they cowered in fear and pleaded to be let go. The dragon only let out a terrifying roar and killed them. He never spoke to humans anymore seeing it as a link to his human side. The dragon hated knowing he was half human. It only reminded him of how his father had left him and how humans were the reason he was like this. To stop these frequent thoughts he never spoke to anyone. He also shoved any feelings of companionship away from him. He knew that he would never be human and instead decided to spend his life taken his revenge on humans.

The Dragon was eleven years old but due to his sped up growth at birth he had the mind of a fifteen year old. The dragon’s days consisted of patrolling his territory and killing any humans who came into it. Stories had been told of a fearsome and ruthless dragon who killed all who went through the forest surrounding the hillside. The stories had detoured many travelers away from the forest road and thus the dragon had begun losing his only means of letting his anger out.

Today however the dragon awoke to the sounds of horses moving along his territory. Slowly getting up he stretched his massive body and took of from his cave.
About time some humans came through here. I could use the fun. The dragon looked down at the road and saw...
