"Hold it!" Instructed a strong voice from nowhere. There was a blinding light and you quickly sheild your eyes. "You are Stephen Renman, are you not?" You look over, once the light died away. There stood a woman in surprisingly modern clothes, a snoopy hoodie, tightish jenes and striped socks with tennis shoes. She was about your age, sixteen and had a framiliar wise look, polishing her spear. "Y-yes I am and who are you?" you stammer. You don't recognize me? Well take another look at the statue." You look and notice the staue has the same greay eyes and all-knowing expression. "Is that your m- I mean is Athena your mother?" "No, not quite but you're close. I am Athena, you see, I can change my apearance at will and I thought I might as well make myself look a little more familiar to you. I came like that ONCE in front of a human and they just won't let it go, I hate how I look in all those statues and pottery." She looked up at the statue in distaste. All this is a little much for you to handel and all you can do is stare into her pretty face. She rolls her eyes like many know-it-alls often do and started fiddling with her spear. "So, why exactly do you want from me?" You ask timidly. "Why else would a god or goddess appear in front of a young mortal? I have a quest for you, silly hero." Your heart lept, you've hungrily read all of the epics and imagined being Eulypsis or Hercules. "I accept"
