Picking the destination of London you materialise in the capital of England in current date 2167 AD. Anxious to see how the country has changed in the past century and a half you step outside.
You find yourself under a bridge, the murky waters of what must be the Thames washing by as you find yourself having to step over pieces of rumble. You come to notice the worrying fact that there is no sound - surely London should be busting with activity and noise, even if you aren't in the centre? And it isn't the middle of the night; the sun is high in the sky above you.
Trying to determine what has happened to the city - some conflict, a natural disaster, a plague? - you turn the corner from your TARDIS and notice a bizarre worn poster stating 'EMERGENCY REGULATION - IT IS NOW FORBIDDEN TO DUMP BODIES IN THE RIVER'. The world chill you, making you wonder just what you have gotten yourself in for by coming here. Is this possibly the end of the human race, or merely a down trodden point?
Your thoughts are interrupted by an alarming noise - gunfire, distant but possibly getting closer. And then out of sight some odd humming noise coming from high in the sky. Perhaps London isn't as deserted as you first thought. Whilst you could try going back into your TARDIS you might as well investigate things further. You could either try the nearby old warehouse, investigate the source of the gunfire cautiously, or explore the rviverside further and see what you could find.
