Cooro and the guys were currently walking on a man-made path through a forest which led to a town a few miles ahead. They were going there to rest up temporarily and lounge around and also meet up with their friend Rose and her brother Pinion.
As they were walking along the trail Cooro, being a boy who centered his priorities mostly around food quickly become hungry after only twenty minutes of walking. "Hey Husky, I'm hungry, can we stop to eat?" the food obsessed kid whined to his girlie looking friend. "No Cooro, we need to save the food we have now for later. And stop whining! We'll be at the town soon enough and we'll get some food with Rose and Pinion.", Husky said annoyed by his friend's impatience to fill his own stomach. "Yeah don't worry Cooro, we've got plenty of money to spend on food at the town anyway.", Nana replied to help Cooro's plight. "Hmm, I heard there are some really nice restaurants in the town were heading to.", Senri then said in his usual low key voice. "Ahh I can't wait!" Cooro cheerfully shouted outward, slightly drooling from the side of his mouth.
Some time later as the town could just be seen off int the distance, the gang was almost out of the forest when suddenly Cooro stopped and caught o whiff of something. "Huh? Hey Cooro, what did ya stop for?" Nana asked to the crow +anima. *sniff sniff* I smell something, Cooro sniffed the air again. "Mmhh it smells good!" Cooro said as he activated his crow anima abilities and flew off in the direction towards the scent. "H-hey Cooro where are you going, come back!", Husky angrily screamed to his determined friend who flying off away from them into the forest. "I'll go after him guys!" Nana said as she activated her bat anima and flew to Cooro and used her larger bat ears to hear for him.
As Cooro made his way towards the location of the source of the enticing scent, he finally stopped flying and ran forward to find the scent was coming from...
